About the Blog

So heres the Blog, Ive started a blog for three reasons really. Firstly im interested in peoples opinions regarding the ill discipline in football, secondly to tell a few tales about incidents from games ( no names mentioned ). Thirdly, this is a big one for me, The Laws of the Game, how many people dont know them and yet the poor Ref gets crucified by them, TV Commentators get it wrong loads, ive emailed Chris Camara several times, without reply may i add, he gets it wrong plenty.
Players and The Laws, most players dont know them, Managers and Secretaries in general are a little in the dark and these are the people apart from FA observers who mark the poor Ref on his/her performance, i also think that dissent and abuse would be lessened if they were more up on The Laws and understood why the Ref did what he/she did.
So thats what the Blog is about, your views, observations, questions are welcome, il try to answer as soon as i can.

This is not an official FA/FIFA publication and the views here are probably not the views of those bodies.

Visit the parent sites too.

Couldnt agree more, however certain parts of LAW would need to be re written to enable the officials to stop and start the game to use such evidence.
As it stands at the moment if play was stopped to view a suspected goal and was prooved not to be, the only way to restart is with a drop ball, that could be as close to the defending teams goal area, ( the 6 yard one ) I dont think they would be over pleased with that?
